HAWAII TOUR – JULY 2011

The Emu Plains Cricket Club ventured to Hawaii in July for our second trip to the islands and were once again welcomed with open arms by the Honolulu Cricket Club. After two victories in 2010, the boys were keen to maintain their undefeated record overseas. It was not to be, however, as the HCC guys proved too strong in both games held on the picturesque Kapiolani Park ground.

Match 1:
EPCC 102 – Stu Ericson 18, Jim Micsko 16, Andy Kennedy 14.
HCC 6/103 – Stu Ericson 1/3, Andrew Luzzi 1/10, Andy Kennedy 1/20.

Match 2:
EPCC 106 – Chris Longhurst 28, Anthony Tonks 15, Peter Gibson 12*.
HCC 5/111 – Andrew Luzzi 3/14, Chris Longhurst 1/15, John Ryan 1/17.

All the players had a fantastic trip and are already planning their return for 2012 when they plan to include a side trip to visit and compete against the Maui Cricket Club. A big thanks to Mark Berwick and the whole Honolulu Cricket Club for their fantastic hospitality.
